CS2 for for Mac was created for older Macs which used a PowerPC processor. Modern Macs (OS 10.4 and later) have Intel processors which are not compatible with the program. Now, if your computer happens to be OS 10.6 or earlier, you might get CS2 to run with Rosetta (already on 10.4 and 10.5; 10.6— Snow Leopard: Installing Rosetta - The Mac. Adobe Creative Suite 2 (CS2) which was released on 2nd April 2005 is now FREE, yes FREE as in $0, you can download it from the official Adobe CS2 Download Page or from the table below which I copied out. Do note that for the Mac version, it will not work with the current generation of Macs as it is meant for Power PC based Mac instead of Intel.
